 As you stroll around the port of Syros, right where the celebrated market of Ermoupolis opens its arms every morning to embrace the joyful smiles of its residents and the inquisitive smiles of its visitors, Topon Geusis stands on the very same 55 square meters where, decades ago, one of its traditional grocery stores was located. It is here that, in 2014, Katerina and Nikos decide to embark on a unique culinary journey that stretches from the stately Cycladic Island that houses their family, all the way around Greece and beyond.

The heartfelt support of the locals and the couple's love for tasty tales told through the products of the land, quickly brought success and loyal customers. Initially hosting almost all local producers of the island, as well as small or big producers from all over Greece, and maintaining a corner of the store for the organic products that they themselves choose for their home and children, they gradually embraced the philosophy of healing through food. Today, organic products cover most of the shelves of their store. From Crete and the Cyclades to the Municipality of Dervenochoria, Epirus and Laconia, the thread that connects every choice the couple makes for Topon Geusis is colored by quality, aesthetics and locality. A section of the store is also dedicated to Asian flavors, while superfoods and gluten free goods also have a place here, through distinct and educated choices. Choices that are inspired and informed by research, the constant quest for the latest trends, as well as personal favorites, different for Katerina and Nikos, through which, as they say, "you feel every corner of our land, knowing it better and loving it more and more."
